Graduate students fix decade old problem in Postgres

Tom Raney and Shreya Bhargava, graduate students in PSU's Computer Science Department, contributed a patch to Postgres, the world's most advanced open source database. Their contribution fixes a performance feature in Postgres that had been broken for over ten years.
