Wu-chi Feng takes over as CS Department Chair

As of July 1, 2007, Wu-chi Feng is the new Chair of the Portland State University Computer Science Department. Feng was elected by the faculty, and appointed by Dean Robert Dryden. He replaces Cynthia Brown, who was chair for nine years. "Wu-chi Feng is bright, energetic, and capabale," said Brown. "I'm sure he'll be a wonderful department chair." Brown is on sabbatical for the 2007-08 academic year.
